Part Time Accounting Clerk
General Description
• Scans and indexes bank documents into the imaging system.
• Performs image quality review of documents after scanning.
• Answers department telephones and responds to requests for assistance from other branches and departments within the bank.
• Performs a variety of clerical duties in the accounting area.
• May be required to assist with customer calls and questions.
• May be required to file departmental work following the record retention requirements of the department.
• Cross trains within department as required.
• Assists Accounting staff with other duties as necessary.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Current high school student and recommended by Co-op guidance counselor OR
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good sorting and organizational skills, including ability to follow directions accurately and handle tasks requiring substantial repetition.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Must be able to demonstrate reliable and punctual work ethics.
• Must be available to work felxible work hours.
